This infrared leak detector is developed to comply with many national regulations and work procedures. The unit features a four gas meter, LEL meter, and combustible gas indicator for increased safety.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The integrated proprietary infrared sensor system (patents pending) integrated in the IRwin methane leak detector has a&nbsp;fast reaction and short recovery time. The system prevents false leak alarms during natural gas leak detection and ensures correct and fast leak evaluation. The specially developed Gas Chromatograph (GC) and IR-sensor combination allows fast distinction between swamp gas and natural gas. The IRwin GC&nbsp;gives fast test results, even at low ethane concentrations, from 1000 ppm methane leaks. IRwin&nbsp;is able to measure methane according to the traditional operating modes required by DVGW G 465-4, such as &#8220;Inspection above-ground&#8221; and &#8220;Measuring bar holes.&#8221; For simplified use, the instrument also features a Universal Mode that combines most of the modes available into one. The range is from 1 ppm to 100 Vol. %. The Ex-certified models can also measure in the range 1-100 %LEL methane.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>IRwin SX-models are certified for use in Zone 0 and US counterpart Class I Division 1.&nbsp;<br \/>Rating is:&nbsp;<em>Ex ia IIC T3, EPL Ga<\/em>.
